DAVID Howard
David Howard teaches Old Testament and Hebrew courses in the M.Div. and M.A. programs. Previously, he taught for 28 years at Bethel Seminary, where he is now Professor of Old Testament Emeritus. He is the author of 7 books, served as the series editor for the Handbooks for Old Testament Exegesis, and numerous other articles. David was raised by missionary parents and lived in Costa Rica and Colombia. He has taught since 1998 at a Christian university in Romania, and for more than a decade at schools in East and Southeast Asia. He is married to Jan, and they have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and seven grandchildren. He enjoys music, reading, live theater, photography, biking, downhill skiing, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
